Forget the Rain, welcome Summer!!

sol-quinox-poster

I know this is a little hard to ask for on this 4th consecutive day of rain, but Summer truly is around the corner…as long as we keep positive thoughts. Which is why, Acknowledge Entertainment Presents “Sol-Quinox” on May 1st - the tipping point from Spring Equinox into Summer Solstice.

This May Day, Acknowledge Entertainment arrives at Neumo’s (925 E. Pike Street) to lift your spirits and bring Spring into your soul with an inspired bill of quintessential local rock featuring, Vashon Island’s favorite sons Troll’s Cottage, Afro-Latin architect/songsmith Diano Garcia, and Bellingham favorites Acorn Project.

This first annual event celebrates the true celestial tipping point between Spring Equinox & Summer Solstice, a critical moment in which philosopher Russell Brand suggests is the most likely point in which a seemingly stable society could succumb to what he considers “youthful folly, jubilance & hi-jinx.” So as marching bands run through the streets, as the heavens shift, and as Fremont collides with Capitol Hill, where better to be than Neumo’s this May Day under the watchful eye

Welcome to Acknowledge Entertainment!

We’re finally here!! Acknowledge Entertainment website…up and running!! Thank you all for your continued support of this adventure.

Acknowledge Entertainment (AE) has been operating since 2004; starting out as Green Lion Productions w/ partners Phil Bruner and Damian Bradley. This coalition was formed after Jenn Meyers experienced first hand the established disparity between the fortunes of a bartender’s nightly haul and the modest wage of the working musician, Meyers set out to make a difference. Green Lion Productions (GLP) and Inertia Music Festival came to fruition.

Green Lion Productions gathered lightning momentum, capturing the spirit and support of the local hip hop and experimental rock bands Mean Recess, The Rebelz, Grieves & Type, and Plentyface. Immediately, GLP started working on a fundraiser for local musicians and artists, Inertia Music Festival.

Like many a great party, Inertia began in 2004 as one of those raging back yard DIY events; the sort that spontaneously gained momentum and outgrew the capacity of a private residence – legally and logistically. Fortunately, INERTIA has never lost that original spirit, or forgotten its purpose – Support Your Local Talent.

This motto followed Meyers into the foundation of Acknowledge Entertainment. With musical and artistic relationships growing and festival planning experience, AE started blossoming into an Event Planning & Entertainment Booking Agency.

Our goals are to create an engaging, successful, and unforgettable experience each time you work with AE. Our booking agency works with the best local, regional, and national acts. We offer assistance with booking, touring, publicity, promoting, research and development, and career strategy.

With each event, we stylize around the client’s wants and needs, while adding our expertise in entertainment through music, dance, and performance art; and by offering a variety of unique venue options, themes & settings, and fare & beverage.

We are excited to keep you updated on all the amazingly talented artists and events AE and the NW will be bringing to you!! Please keep checking back in for updates, ticket giveaways, fresh sounds and much more!!

Look forward to it all ~
